Minced Beef Jumbo Rolex

One word: Epic. Is what was in my mind while conceptualising this Rolex. I am already in celebratory mode because the Rolex Festival is a few days away. So I thought what not a better way than to make this epic rolex and then eat it all in one sitting because it is possible! I am so excited to see the many innovations that will come to fruition that day. If you can, I urge you to attend.

Imagine juicy ground beef, a healthy dose of vegetables and the right amount of egg and this epic rolex in born. It has a good balance of cooked and raw, sweet and salty with a hint of spice and did I mention the jumbo size? You should make this ASAP.

  1. Hi Sophie,

Thanks for your emails and all the culinary inspirations. I could use some of that right now.

Recently, I bought 5kgs of groundnut pate for some friends in Nairobi, however, I forgot to carry it with me and I’m now stuck with it. I’m already tired of eating it the traditional way (alone and with dry fish) and would like some ideas on other ways to prepare it.

    1. Hello Cissy. I am glad the blog is helping you out. To be honest, I have also had the same problem with groundnut paste. Usually if it isn’t fish, I will cook it in vegetables like Sukuma, ntula etc. But now that you have mentioned it, I will crack my head till I get more innovations. You will be the first to know when I do. Meanwhile check out the recipe index page https://akitcheninuganda.com/recipe-index/. Maybe you can find something to try. Also I just started a Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/232643903797607/ where I encourage my readers to share their creations. You are welcome to join.
